Funding

USLEAP's funding comes from foundations, individuals, trade unions, and religious groups. Individuals and foundations have historically accounted for the majority of USLEAP's financial support.

Foundations that have provided major support for USLEAP over the past ten years included the Arca Foundation, the Boehm Foundation, the Diana Bonnor Lewis Foundation, the General Service Foundation, the MacArthur Foundation, the New World Foundation, and the 21st Century ILGWU Heritage Foundation.

Since 2000, individuals have been the single greatest source of support for USLEAP.

In 2006, USLEAP had a budget of $245,000.  Salaries ranged from $38,000 to $22,000.  USLEAP expenses in 2006 were 79% for program, 7% for management, and 14% for fundraising.
